Saija Mahon Reaches Google’s TOP 50 List of Women in Search

Founder Saija Mahon and Mahon Digital Ltd selected to run for prestigious Award amongst big industry names such as Disney, Carat, iProspect and Mediacom.

Google and the Drum’s Women in Search initiative was launched to find the most influential women working in the search sector, which currently is 70% male.

The Drum, working in conjunction with Google, collected nominations for women who have made the most impact in the field, and the founder of Mahon Digital Marketing, an international digital agency which flagship office resides in Ware, Hertfordshire has been selected to the TOP 50 list amongst some very well-known brands such as Disney.

The top ten women from the public vote will advance to the final stage of the process, with the winner being honoured at The Drum’s inaugural Search Awards later in the year.

The nominations have now been whittled down to a 50-strong list including Rachael Fletcher, digital acquisition manager, Disney; Emily Van Lierop, group search director, iProspect, Katie Manser, search marketing manager, NowTV; Claudia Ziegenbein, head of paid search, MediaCom UK and Heledd Jones, head of search marketing, confused.com and of course, Saija Mahon from Mahon Digital Marketing Ltd.

Voting was closed on the 10th of April, thank you to all of you who voted.
